Dr. Robin Russell graduated from Bastyr University in 2005 and started her practice, Natural Pediatric Medicine, later that year in the Seattle area. In October of 2007, Dr. Russell moved her practice to a different location in the Seattle area to join Cascade Natural Medicine. Cascade Natural Medicine grew to be the largest Pediatric and Women’s
Health Clinic in the Seattle area with 6 Naturopathic Physicians. Having been a part of such a successful Pediatric and Women’s Health Clinic, Dr. Russell thought it was the perfect time to consider bringing her knowledge and experience to the east coast. After having grown up in Litchfield County, Connecticut, Dr. Russell always wanted to return home and had decided with her husband that it was the perfect time to relocate their young family. Dr. Russell joined a practice in Hartford County, CT as the clinic's leading Naturopathic Pediatric and Women's Health expert for a little over a year. Dr. Russell then decided it was time to follow her dreams and opened up a Pediatric and Women’s Naturopathic Healthcare Clinic in the hills of beautiful Northwestern CT.
Dr. Russell’s expertise in pediatric medicine stems from extensive clinical training with women and children while attending Bastyr University. Before completion of her degree, Dr. Russell studied with a Naturopathic Physician who specialized in pediatric and women’s health and truly grew to love working with women and children. While in her first year of practice, Dr. Russell wanted to acquire further knowledge and experience in pediatrics and pursued additional training with a pediatrician in her community. Dr. Russell served as a Primary Care Doctor in the state of Washington for about 8 years before relocating to CT. After relocating to CT, Dr. Russell specialized primarily in acute and chronic healthcare in women and children.
Dr. Russell is currently teaching Nutrition and Autism as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Bridgeport in their Masters of Nutrition program. Dr. Russell is also a Board Member of the Connecticut Naturopathic Physicians Association, an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians as well as an active member of the Pediatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Dr. Russell resides in the state of Connecticut with her husband, two children, and giant Leonberger! She enjoys cooking, traveling, gardening and spending time with her family. She is currently accepting new patients.
